Mission Statement

Mission Statement

My purpose is to facilitate creative, spiritual, and heart development across the lifespan in service to life and to ease suffering.

My aim is to;

  • nurture the inner creative within each of us,
  • cultivate our poetic aesthetic and voice,
  • deepen our connection to our hearts and bodies in a way that supports compassion, enabling us to walk in the world with a healing touch.
  • develop circles that enliven a life-long development of imagination, resilience and agency, so that we might increase our capacity to co-create generative solutions
  • deepen our capacity for reciprocity with earth and all beings.

Mission Statement

I recognize that our human world is interwoven with the other than human world. Each of us have inherent rights to thrive and to receive respectful treatment.

I believe there is a need in the world for poetic medicine circles that support individual resilience and community connection and are catalysts for exploration, heart integration, and transformation.

I understand that the alchemy co-created within a poetic medicine circle opens us to the numinous, and to our innate ways of knowing such as our imagination, intuition, creativity, dreams, and our embodied awareness.  Both the expressive arts and building relationship with the human and other than human world are woven into my poetry circles.

It is meaningful to me to assist people to expand their mystical awareness and poetic voice, even as together we practice and integrate the skills of empathy, presence, trust, listening, gratitude, compassion, self-compassion, and generative action, all of which will benefit our depleted world.
